Em minha mais recente visita \u00e0 Europa conheci um hotel muito especial, o contagiante e sedutor INK Hotel Amsterdam<\/strong>.\u00a0 Um lugar que desde 1904 liga as pessoas ao mundo, j\u00e1 que o pr\u00e9dio, antes de se tornar um hotel, abrigou o jornal holand\u00eas \u201cDe Tijd<\/strong>\u201d (O Tempo). Ou seja, um local cheio de hist\u00f3rias para nos contar, e voc\u00ea vai perceber isso em cada detalhe desta bela hospedaria de luxo.<\/span><\/p>\n

During my most recent tour through Europe, I have been to a very special, contagious and enticing hotel: INK Hotel Amsterdam<\/strong>. A place that connects people since 1904, since the building, before hosting a hotel, was the Dutch newspaper \u201cDe Tijd<\/strong>\u201d (The Time) headquarters. A place full of history where you notice it on each detail of this luxurious inn.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Mas primeiro vamos falar de sua localiza\u00e7\u00e3o, que \u00e9 simplesmente fant\u00e1stica! Para quem chega de trem, estar\u00e1 apenas a 10 minutos a p\u00e9 da esta\u00e7\u00e3o Amsterdam Centraal<\/strong>. Em seu entorno h\u00e1 uma mistura afinada de pr\u00e9dios hist\u00f3ricos com a modernidade cosmopolita de Amsterdam. Muitas lojas bacanas, restaurantes e museus est\u00e3o por perto, foi raro o dia em que precisei pegar um t\u00e1xi. Tudo pode e DEVE ser feito a p\u00e9, uma maneira perfeita de vivenciar o que a cidade tem de melhor!<\/span><\/p>\n

Nevertheless, let us begin talking about its location, which is just fantastic! For those coming to Amsterdam by train, you will be just 10 minutes walking from the Amsterdam Centraal<\/strong> station. The surroundings are a nice mix of historical buildings and the cosmopolitan modernity of Amsterdam. Lots of nice stores, restaurants and museums are very near, and you will not feel the need of a taxi. Everything can and MUST be done walking, a perfect way to enjoy the best things the city has to offer.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

O design e decora\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 outro aspecto que deve ser apreciado em seus m\u00ednimos detalhes. O que mais me encantou durante a minha estadia? Os pap\u00e9is de parede personalizados em cada quarto com os mapas da cidade feitos pelo artista pl\u00e1stico Jan Rothuizen<\/strong>. Cada vez que eu olhava o mapa do meu quarto, era uma nova descoberta: lugares interessantes, seu massagista preferido na cidade, a floricultura onde costuma comprar tulipas e at\u00e9 o bairro onde mora a ex-namorada. Ao longo dos dias este d\u00e9cor bem-humorado nos aproximava cada vez mais da vida cotidiana na cidade e da vida do artista, com seu estilo de vida bo\u00eamio.<\/span><\/p>\n

Design and d\u00e9cor is another aspect that must be appreciated in detail. What has amused me the most during my stay? The personalized wallpapers on each room by the artist Jan Rothuizen<\/strong>. Every time I watched the map in my room, it was a new discovery: interesting places, his favourite masseur, the flower shop where he buys tulips and even his ex-girlfriend neighbourhood. Through the days, this funny d\u00e9cor gets you closer to the daily life of the city and of the artist, with his bohemian style.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Os quartos (ao todo 149) s\u00e3o maravilhosos, todos sem exce\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00eam toques personalizados e uma eleg\u00e2ncia clean. Eles est\u00e3o divididos em cinco categorias e todos possuem uma \u201cMGalleryBed\u201d, que proporciona uma noite perfeita de sono. Outras comodidades podem ser encontradas em seu apartamento, como WIFI gratuito (que \u00e9 perfeito!), TV, produtos de banho C.O. Bigelow, m\u00e1quina de espresso, alto-falantes sem fio, livros de arte, banheira e outros mimos que ser\u00e3o apresentados pouco a pouco.<\/span><\/p>\n

All the 149 rooms are wonderful, each of them, with no exception, has personalized amenities and a clean elegance. They are divided in five categories and all have a MGalleryBed, that will give you a perfect night of sleep. Other amenities will be found at your room, as free WIFI (wich is perfect!), TV, amenities from C.O. Bigelow, espresso machine, wireless speakers, art books, bathtub and other pampering that will be discovered little by little.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Toda esta experi\u00eancia refinada tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 levada \u00e0 sua gastronomia. Uma dica de uma pessoa que leva a s\u00e9rio suas experi\u00eancias gastron\u00f4micas: n\u00e3o tenha pressa em tomar seu caf\u00e9 da manh\u00e3 no restaurante do hotel, o PRESSROOM<\/strong>. \u00c9 simplesmente fant\u00e1stico e a maneira mais deliciosa de come\u00e7ar um dia bem-disposto para curtir ao m\u00e1ximo os passeios pelos belos canais da cidade.<\/span><\/p>\n

All this stylish experience can also be found in the gastronomy. A tip from someone that takes seriously their gastronomic experiences: don\u2019t rush your breakfast at Pressroom<\/strong>, the hotel\u2019s restaurant. It is simply amazing and the most delicious way to begin a day cheerfully, to enjoy to the maximum the tours in the beautiful canals.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

E se tiver alguma noite livre e pregui\u00e7osa, jantar ali tamb\u00e9m ser\u00e1 uma \u00f3tima op\u00e7\u00e3o. O chef sabe o que faz e o faz com ingredientes locais genu\u00ednos. Em meu jantar provei dois pratos que chamam aten\u00e7\u00e3o pelo seu equil\u00edbrio de sabores e texturas. O primeiro foi o salm\u00e3o marinado no gim e beterraba, com filetes de pepinos e emuls\u00e3o de ervas<\/strong>, que delicadeza de entrada! Para os f\u00e3s de carne como eu, uma boa pedida pode ser o fil\u00e9, que chega no ponto cert\u00edssimo, acompanhado de cebola roxa, vegetais e molho romanesca.<\/span><\/p>\n

And if you have a free and lazy night, have a dinner there will be a great option. The chef knows what he is doing and does it with local and genuine ingredients. I have tasted two dishes that draw attention for their balance of flavours and textures. The first was the gin and beet marinated salmon with cucumber and herb emulsion, what a delicate entr\u00e9e! For the meat fans like me, a good option is the beef tenderloin that comes in the exact point, with purple onion, vegetables and Romanesque.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Voc\u00ea tamb\u00e9m pode optar por experimentar o menu degusta\u00e7\u00e3o do chef e se dar a oportunidade de ser surpreendido com receitas exclusivas. Fora o ambiente nost\u00e1lgico do espa\u00e7o, que era a sala de imprensa do antigo jornal, e pre\u00e7os camarad\u00edssimos.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can also try the chef\u2019s menu and give yourself the opportunity to be surprised with exclusive recipes. All this in the nostalgic space of the old newspaper\u2019s pressroom with very affordable prices.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

S\u00f3 faltou um pequeno detalhe para o hotel beirar a perfei\u00e7\u00e3o… Um SPA! Infelizmente voc\u00ea ter\u00e1 que se contentar com a bela banheira que voc\u00ea encontrar\u00e1 em seu quarto. Para os fitness, o INK possui uma academia, mas sendo bastante honesta eu vi que existia e dei as costas. Afinal, estava ali em f\u00e9rias!<\/span><\/p>\n

There is just a detail missing for this hotel to reach perfection… A SPA! Unfortunately, you will have to make do with the bathtub you will find in your room. For the fitness people INK has a health club, but being very honest, I took notice of it, turned my back and walked away. <\/em>After all, I was on vacation!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Um lugar inspirador, acolhedor e com servi\u00e7o extremamente gentil, onde cada pessoa estar\u00e1 \u00e0 sua disposi\u00e7\u00e3o para qualquer necessidade, desde um chocolate quente na madrugada at\u00e9 uma dica pessoal de uma boa boate para cair na noite. O INK sempre ser\u00e1 sempre uma boa lembran\u00e7a de hospitalidade cada vez que eu pensar nesta cidade maravilhosa que \u00e9 Amsterdam. Espero que venha a ser para voc\u00eas tamb\u00e9m!<\/span><\/p>\n

An inspiring and inviting place with an extremely welcoming service, where each person will be at your service for anything you need, from a late night hot chocolate to a personal tip of a nightclub to enjoy the night. INK will always be a good memory of hospitality every time I will have the wonderful city of Amsterdam on my mind. I hope it becomes a good one for you too!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
